Lili's Little Fairies Challenge .............................

Hi everyone, thank you so much to all my blogging buddies who left me such nice comments about my flood. We are still waiting for floors to dry out so no sign of getting closer to having an work started yet. Anyway enough of my flood update, time to get onto my DT card for Lili's Little Fairies and our theme for you this week is 'Christmas in August'.

The Tale of Thunder Tuesday and a Winter Wonderland Challenge .............

Hi everyone, what a week I had last week, on Tuesday we had a really bad thunder storm and when I got up there was no water in our en suite bathroom which is on our top floor as we have a 3 storey house.  I thought I had turned the tap off so off I went to work.  I had an awful day, my car played up all the 50 miles I had to drive to work it was just one of those days!  But it only got worse when I got home at 5.45pm I could hear the fire alarm going off  so I opened the door not quite sure what I was going to find, thank fully there wasn't a fire but the fire alarms were going off as there was water pouring through.  It turned out that the water had come back on about an hour after I left the house and I had left the sink tap on which then flooded the whole house as the water came out so quick it just shot over the side of the sink.  What a mess we were in, we have water damage to every room in the house.  We are going to need some new floor boards, ceilings, skirting boards, and door frames as well as complete decoration and new carpets through out. Once the floors are dried out I think we are going to have to move out for 2 - 3 weeks.  Thankfully my Mum and Dad live in the same village as us so they have said we can stay with them.  So at some point my craft room will have to packed up and put in storage.

So with all this going on my blog has been a bit quiet!  I did manage to make my Winter Wonderland  DT card and our theme for you this week is 'Red, White and Craft', so I hope you will come and join in the challenge.Thanks for stopping by.

A Scrapbook Page ............

Hi everyone, well what a hot one it's been today!   I was working from home today so I was sat in front of the laptop most of the day until I went to get Grace from the childminders at 5pm and the heat just hit me when I opened the door! It was like getting out of a plane when you go abroad!  There it's better than all the rain we had last year so mustn't complain!

Anyway I have a layout to share with you tonight which is for my title page in this year's holiday album.   Whilst I was sitting on the beach day dreaming about crafting I decided to have some fun and write in the sand for this photo!  I like having a title page for an album as it gives you a chance to introduce your holiday.

Winter Wonderland Challenge .......................

A Tilly Daydreams Card ...............

Hi everyone, I hope you have been enjoying the sunshine today. I've been working all day but finished now so I'm going outside to enjoy it shortly!

I have a Tilly Daydreams card to share with you today.  I couldn't resist this little cutie, as I had the urge for a little craft shopping when we got home from France.

I've been playing catch up with all the washing and ironing and housework since I've been home, I think I need another holiday to get over the holiday!  Anyway I'm starting to get caught up but the ironing pile is still like Mount Everest but I really enjoyed some crafty time last night making this card.  We can't have all work and no play!

Back from France ........................

Hi everyone, my blog has been a bit quiet over the last 2 weeks as I've been on holiday in France.  We went to Saint Malo which was just gorgeous!  These are a couple of photos from my trip, I'm hoping to get some of these photos onto some scrapbook pages very soon once I get them printed.

Winter Wonderland Challenge ................

Hi all, is it really Friday again!  Don't the weeks roll round so quick!  I have my DT card to share with you today for Winter Wonderland and our theme for you this week is 'Easel Card'. I decided to make a circle easel card as they are lovely and quick to make.  I've also used some Sarah K Christmas decoupage which I found in my stash recently.  I'm in the process of clearing out the Craft room so its great finding things that had long been forgotten!   I will show you the before pictures of the craft room soon and hopefully it won't be too long before I have the after shots to show you but it's still work in progress at the moment.

A Fairy Card .................

Hi everyone, I did a Crafter's Companion demonstration on Saturday at  Craft Mania in Lowestoft.   It was a very busy day and I met lots of lovely crafters so I thought I would share one of my samples that I took along.    This fairy is called Jessica and she is from the Angelica and Friends range.
