This card is for this week's Sketch Saturday ChallengeThis is another stamp I've had for ages and not used, but I quite like it! I must have had it nearly a year, I don't know why it took me so long to use it! Maybe its because I do more craft shopping than actually crafting! Oops did I really admit to that! Hopefully now I have started taking part in card challenges it will help me use up some of my stash!

D is for Decoupage

This is the card I made for my husband Will's birthday today. Rubber stamping is my first love when it comes to card making but I still like to do a little bit of decoupage every now and again as they were the first ever sort of cards that I made. I really love these paper nation images. As well as being for my husband this card is also for the ABC Challenge. Well we have to multi task when we can!

How cute are these!

Well no cards or scrapbook pages to show you today but I thought you might like to see Grace's newest pair of shoes or should I say boots! These little baseball boots were reduced in Adams and I just had to buy them! She does not need them but what has need ever had to do with buying shoes! They really do deserve a scrapbook layout, hopefully I might get time this week to make one!

This is the first page in an album I am making for my daughter Grace, I don't make too many traditional scrapbook pages as I do more digital scrapbooking but I can't stop buying scrapbook stash so I really must use some of it up!

Well me and Grace have had a busy week, we've been to baby massage, under one's and shopping and with the nice weather craft time has been a bit limited. But I have managed to make this card for Grace to give to her dad on Tuesday for his birthday. I just have to make him one from now, please can someone put some more hours in my day!

Triple Challenge Card

This card is for 3 challenges. The first is for the PENNY BLACK SATURDAY CHALLENGE which this week is to include snow, which is great as it has got me started on my Christmas cards in July which is a first for me! Normally I don't start till December and then just end up making a few for close family and friends but this year as I am on maternity leave I plan to have them all done by the end of November. Well thats the plan whether it happens or not remains to be seen!

The next challenge this card is for is for CUTE CARD THURSDAY and you have to design a card with animals only, no people.

30th Birthday Card

Well I had a busy day yesterday, me and Grace went to baby massage for the first time and she had her second lot of injections so she needed a bit of TLC. I just had time to finish this 30th birthday card for my friend whoose birthday it is in a couple of weeks. I don't think there will be anytime for crafting today as we are off to a festival in the village where I live.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Well I thought I would have a go at the Penny Black Challenge as it is a really good sketch. You can see the sketch at: http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/. I have never taken part in a challenge before so I thought I would give it go. I decided to do a man's card with the sketch as I never find them easy but this sketch really helped.

I was not sure what to add for the circle part of the sketch so I made this little embellishment with a brad. The trouble with men's cards is that there is no pink, glitter or flowers which are all my favorite things!

For this card I used some Cherry Arte papers which were free with an issue of Scrapbook Inspirations.

Well there's not been much time for crafting this week, but I have managed to finish this digi scrapbook page that I started last week. This layout shows how my husband wants our daughter Grace to be a Valentino Rossi fan!

Baby Cards

I adapted the sketch from mypaperworld.blogspot.com for these baby cards and I am quite pleased with the results. At last I am building up a little stock of cards instead of rushing everytime I need to make one! I have really enjoyed using card sketches, it makes the creative process so much easier!

Any Occasion Card

I actually had time to make some cards last week which was great! I got the inspiration for this card from a sketch at mypaperworld.blogspot.com. The stamp is a penny black which are my favorites and the paper was free with a magazine.

Well I have had a busy weekend, I have made some cards and me and Will had our first night out without Grace since she was born. We went out for Steven's 30th Birthday, which is Will's best mate. We did have a nice time but it was very hard too not keep thinking about Grace. We both kept checking our mobiles all night and it was quite a relief to get home! Now we have done it once hopefully next time it will be easier. I really want to document this on a scrapbook layout as my dad took a nice picture of me and Will before we went out.

Father's Day Layout

I just had to make a Father's Day Layout to include the pictures of Will and Grace. Will enjoyed getting presents on Father's Day but thought there should be more than one a year! He also wanted Grace to wear something different to pink so I had to document that.
