Hi everyone, not my normal sort of card but I was asked to make a card using this photo for a lady that was turning 50. I printed this card onto some gorgeous photo paper which I got from Photo Paper Direct. I was really pleased with this photo paper and I would certainly recommend it! My friend who asked me to make the card was really pleased with it which I was very glad about as it was quite a challenge!

Hi everyone, my second card of the day, I am doing well! This card is for 3 challenges, the first challenge is for Sunday Sketch and Stamp who have a lovely sketch designed by Arianne. The second challenge this card is for is Simon Says Stamp Challenge and their theme is 'Simon says it's a stitch up' so you have to add stitching to your card. Mine had to be faux stitching as I don't do sewing! The third challenge this card is for is Allsorts Challenge Blog and their theme is 'Snowflakes in September'.
The image on my card is also from the Christmas Pixie Range from Pollycraft Designs and is called 'Mischief' hence the title of blog post. I think he is so cute, he looks like he is going to get you with a snowball any minute!

Hi everyone, the theme this week at Pollycraft Designs is 'Black and white and one other colour'. This week at C.R.A.F.T Challenge the theme is 'Anything but a card'. My project for the challenge is a Fridge Magnet which I have made for mum's birthday next week. The magnet features a picture of my little girl Grace. I made the fridge magnet by printing onto Inkjet Magnetic Paper which I got from Photo Paper Direct. I am so impressed with this Magnetic Paper, I think it is so nice to be able to make personalised gifts. I printed my magnet at just over 3 inch square and I then managed to fit 6 images on to an A4 sheet. I added a few digital elements to my picture before printing it onto the magnetic paper. I am going to be making a lot of these for Christmas presents as they make lovely inexpensive gifts.
I also made a box for my magnet which finishes off my gift. I hope my mum likes it!
Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the weekend. This card is for this week's great sketch from Friday Sketchers. I really enjoyed using this simple sketch. The gorgeous image on my card is a freebie called 'Cherry Kisses Snowball', yes I did say freebie from Pollycraft Designs which you can get here!
Hi everyone, I can't believe how cold it has been, I think the autumn has arrived already! Anyway enough of my weather report, onto my card. I made this card for my mum to give to my cousin whoose baby is now overdue so we should have a new arrival in the family any day now! I used my new Whiff of Joy stamp which I just love and the fantastic sketch over at Sketch and Stash worked really well on a bigger card. I made the flowers myself using various sized retro punches. I am quite pleased with how this one turned out.
