Sketch Saturday and Forever Friends Challenges .................

This week over at Sketch Saturday the challenge is to choose any previous sketch, so I have chosen Sketch 28. This is a new stamp that I got for Christmas from my sister and the papers are also Forever Friends from my sis, she always buys me great presents!

I also decided to decorate to my envelope to match my card. As I coloured the image in promarkers I put a piece of card inside the envelope to stop the markers bleeding through to the other side of the envelope. I am quite pleased with how this card and envelope turned out.
I am also entering this card into the Forever Friends Challenge who have an open theme this week.

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas. We had a lovely time with it being Grace's first Christmas, I think I must have took a million pictures! I just have to start working on the scrapbook pages now!

Thanks for stopping by, please leave me a comment if you have time.

Hugs Lynsey:)

Daring Cardmakings 10 Minute Challenge ............

This week over at Daring Cardmakers Challenge you have to make a card in 10 minutes! It is always a challenge for me to make quick cards as I spend ages colouring my images but this card was made quick as a flash as this Christmas Wilbur download from Pollycraft comes with one set for you to colour and one set pre-coloured so I used a pre-coloured one for my quick card.
This is another Christmas card finished, only 4 left to go and I hope to get them done tomorrow!

Cards for my Nans

Hi all, I'm still busy trying to get my Christmas cards finished. The baubles image is a free download from Chris which you will find on her blog along with some amazing cards. Thanks Chris they were just perfect for cards for my Nans. I don't know if you can see the sparkly snowflakes background but it is very glittery. I used a glue pad for stamping the background and then just added glitter. I was covered after making these, my husband Will was not impressed as he always ends up covered in glitter too lol!.

Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment if you have time.

Hugs Lynsey :)

Its nearly Christmas .........

Its nearly Christmas and I still have loads of cards to make! I start to panic when they start arriving in the post as I know I need to finish making mine and get them posted. I have been really busy the last couple of days trying to get my special cards made for Christmas. This card is for my mum and dad and I have made one the same for my husband's parents. I love this image which was designed by the very talented Chris over at her Sketching Stamper Blog. I brought this stamp from Spiral Whisper and it is huge, which was just perfect for the bigger cards that I wanted to make.

I coloured the image with prisma colouring pencils and glitter paints.

Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment if you have time.
