Papertake Weekly Challenge ..........

There is another fantastic sketch by Dawny at Papertake Weekly Challenge. Hopefully I am just in time, I have been trying to get this card made all week lol! This card is for one of my friend's who turns 40 next week, the worrying thing about my friend turning 40 is that I remember teasing her rotten when she turned 25 and was a quarter of century lol! Those were the days! My card turned out a little brighter than what I planned but hopefully my friend will like it.

Mother's Day and a Challenge Card

Hi everyone, I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day. I certainly enjoyed my first Mother's Day. I had received this lovely picture of Grace in a frame she painted at nursery, I also got a picture and a rice crispy cake that she also made at nursery! I think I have competition with my crafting!

Onto my card, this is for this week's challenge at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and the theme is 'Favourite Colour'. Just my sort of challenge as I love to make pink cards lol!

All the materials on this card are from my goodie bag from Craftwork Cards which I purchased at the NEC.

Double Challenge Card .........

Hi everyone, an early post from me today, Grace is still asleep, its not like her to lay in this long, I bet she won't at the weekend lol! I'm taking Grace to an animal farm with my friend and her little boy today, so I'm hoping that the fog will lift and the sun will come out!

Anyway onto my card, this is for 2 challenges the first is for Friday Sketchers who have another fantastic sketch designed by Carole. I really enjoyed using this sketch and I will be using this one again. The second challenge this card is for Cupcake Craft Challenge whoose theme this week is 'Brown + 1' and the plus 1 can be pink, blue or green. Well as pink and brown are one of my fav colour combos I had to play along with this one! It also gave me the chance to use my new stash that I got from the NEC at the weekend. Most of the materials on this card are from Craft Work Cards. I got a fantastic goodie bag from their stand and also the oriental girl. I got 4 sheets of the oriental girls but they also do them in clear stamps, so I think I may have to make a purchase in the future!

Mother's Day

Hi everyone, well I've made the Mother's day card, now I just need to sort out a present for my mum! I just thought I would share with you a website which I came across today which has some great mothers day gift ideas, it’s called Red Letter Days and they have some great activity gifts to give to your mum.

I think I am going to do something like this for mum this year instead of the normal chocs and flowers! I can't quite decide which to choose yet I'm quite tempted by one of the spa days for 2 as I could go as well then lol!

Sketch Saturday .................

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. I've been a bad blogger this last week as I have been so tired after some busy days at work so I have not really done any crafting or much blog hopping! I went to the NEC yesterday though and got some fantastic goodies so that has perked me up a bit lol! I think the weather helped today as it has been beautiful and sunny here in Norfolk today so me and my husband Will took Grace to the park and she had her first go on a swing. I wish I had remembered to take my camera!

I made this card round my friend's last night and she didn't have any square cards so I found this big card quite hard work! I'm still not completely sure about it but I hope my mum will like it for Mother's Day.
