Pollycraft Monday Challenge 13 - Orange!

This week's challenge at Pollycraft Monday Challenge has been set by Pops and is a colour theme of orange. This sent me into a panic as orange is not really a colour I ever use on cards so I had to have a hunt through my stash for some orange paper and embellishments but I am quite pleased with the results and I think I now will use this colour again. I quite like challenges that take me out of my comfort zone so thanks Pops! Please check out the other DT cards for some fantastic inspiration. There another gorgeous stamp set up for grabs for the winner so please come along and join us in the challenge. To take part in the challenge you must use one Pollycraft item in your creation.

Thanks to everyone that wished my little girl Grace a Happy Birthday for yesterday. We had a lovely family party for her and she was thoroughly spoilt by everyone! This is a picture of her I took yesterday on her birthday, she looks so grown up!

And this is Grace's Princess birthday cake, I would like to tell you I made it but I am a hopeless cook! My sister made this cake for Grace and it tasted fantastic!

I hope you have all had a great Easter Weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.

I had great fun making this card with my new Princess Anya stamp. This card is for 2 challenges the first is a new challenge blog called Stamp with Fun and they had a great sketch for their first challenge which was perfect to fit the Princess and her castle onto my card. The second challenge this card is for is Spoon Full of Sugar and their theme this week is to feature a persons age on a card.

My second card is for Friday Sketchers and they have another fantastic sketch this week. The images on this card are to be released from Pollycraft Designs, along with this little chap you also get 3 other boy images and some other space images. Charisma Card Challenge 13 Sketch ..........

This week Chrisma Cardz Challenge have a great sketch by my blogging buddy Lyndsey, its also Lyndsey's birthday today, so happy birthday Lyndsey!

This card is an engagement card for my husband's cousin. I thought the little sentiment was perfect for this occasion. I made the flowers out of vellum after getting some inspiration from another of my blogging buddies Debbie, thanks Debbie! The largest flower has been punched then I used a white sukara gel pen for the dots. The other flowers have been made using my Clare Curd flower stamps and I embossed them with white embossing powder onto the vellum. I coloured the back of the vellum flowers with Promarkers to make them pink to match my card.

The stamped flower on my card has stamped twice and mounted on foam pads for a bit of dimension. I have coloured the flower with pink glitter pain and added glitter to the centre of the flower. For a change I am quite happy with card!

I hope you all have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by.
