Tag it at Craft Ribbons ......................

Hi all and happy Thursday to you!  I'm having such a lovely week being off work.  On Monday we had a lovely lunch out with my friend Marianne and her husband Graham. Tuesday we went to Banham Zoo and yesterday we went to Thursford.

Anyway onto my tags which are my DT make for our new challenge over at Crafty Ribbons
and our theme this time is 'Tag It'.  I love making tags so I really enjoyed taking part in this challenge.  I've used some beautiful Grosgrain Ribbon Swiss Dot in Candyfloss on my tags, some paper from my stash and some new stamps and dies from Mama Elephant.  I do hope you will come along and join in with our challenge this time.

If you love ribbon you may also be interested in the Design Call at Crafty Ribbons. You can find out all the details here.

Where's Wally Layout .............

Hi all and happy Easter Monday bank holiday.  Well as it's a Bank Holiday Monday we are forecast rain and storm Katie so I'm sure it will be a wet one!

I've a scrapbook page to share with you today of Grace dressed up in her 'Where's Wally' outfit for World Book Day.  We have spent hours in our house looking at the Where's Wally books so I couldn't resist getting Grace this outfit for World Book Day.

We are out to lunch with my good Marianne and her husband Graham today at one of our favourite restaurants so I'm looking forward to that. I hope you have a wonderful day whatever your plans are!

A Card for a Car Lover!

Hi all, and happy Sunday to you.  Just a quick post tonight before the Night Manager comes on.  I made this card for my friend Marianne's husband.  He loves cars so I thought that this new stamp set from LOTV would be perfect for his birthday card. I really liked working with the circle stamps they made a really nice change.

A New Home Card ..................

Hi all and happy Friday to you!  I've been a bad blogger this last week.  We went away to Ireland at the weekend and it's taken me all week to catch up!  I've also been doing lots of running for my marathon training.  I ran 20 miles this morning, that's the last long run done now which I'm pleased about!

Anyway onto my card, this was a card for one of my friends, who has just recently moved.  I used the Moonbeam Meadow CD from Crafter's Companion for the papers and image.  I love teapots but I can't stand tea!

A Gem of a Challenge ................

Hi all and happy Saturday to you.  This is a scheduled post as I shall be out doing a 19 mile training run for my marathon by the time you read this.  It is fore cast heavy rain all morning so I can't say as I'm looking forward to being out in it for 3 and half hours but if I'm going to run this marathon next month it must be done!

Anyway onto my card which is for the spring theme that I choose this time at A Gem of a Challenge. As always there is a fantastic prize for the winner so I hope you will come along and join in the challenge this time.

I have used a gorgeous image on my card called Chloe with Bunny, some papers from my stash, a memory box bunting die, a free embossing folder for quick cards this month and a flower die I got at a show, not sure the make of that!

Thanks for stopping by.

Monochrome at Crafty Ribbons .................

Hi all, I'm back today to share my DT card for the Crafty Ribbons Challenge and our theme for you this time is monochrome.  I thought I would make a Mother's day card for this theme and used some of the gorgeous Black Volcan Visose Lace on my card.  I have also used a free die that came with this month's issue of Quick cards and some buttterfly dies from Cheery Lynn.  The papers are some old papermania ones I have had for ages so it was good to use some more of them up!

I hope you will come along and join in with our challenge this time.

Thanks for stopping by.

The Hope of Spring ......................

Hi all, I hope your week is going well. My little Grace has been poorly again, that's the third time she has been sick since Christmas.  No wonder I hope for spring lol!  Bless her she is better now thank goodness.

Anyway my layout tonight was made using supplies from Like for Ever.  This is quite a clean and simple layout for me, but I'm pleased with how it turned out.   I spotted these pretty snowdrops whilst I was out on a run so I stopped to take a photo.  I must get some planted in the garden for next year!

There is certainly no sign of spring appearing in Norfolk today, it has been absolutely freezing!   I hope it gets warmer tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by.
