Glitter Cupcakes ..............

 

Hi everyone, I have another scrapbook page to share with you tonight.  This layout is of Grace with our first cupcakes which had glitter on them.  Grace was very excited about sparkly cakes and I think I was too!  It was last summer when we made these, I think it's time to do some more soon! 

I used my bunting sew easy tool which I got off my friend Marianne for Christmas on my layout, and I love it!  I'm a bit addicted to bunting as well as glitter on cards and cupcakes!  It was edible glitter on the cupcakes though, I didn't raid the craft room!  

We've still got this horrible snow laying about, I've got my snow photos, Grace has built 2 snowmen and now I just want it go!  

Well that's enough of my ramblings for one day!

Winter Wonderland Challenge .............

Hi everyone, this week's challenge at Winter Wonderland is 'Vintage'.  As I'm so into my scrapbooking I thought I would make a vintage inspired 70's layout. I have chosen colours and papers that look like the 70's. Well I think they do anyway.

The photo on the layout is my Mum and Dad and my mum is pregnant with me so this is going to be the first page in my Early Years album.

I used a great sketch from Sarahs Cards to make my layout.

An Engagement Card .......................

Hi everyone, well we've had quite a lot of snow in my little corner of Norfolk today  Luckily my boss was very kind and said I didn't have to attend a meeting in Norwich which would have been a 100 miles round trip.  I would have been a nervous wreck as I hate driving in the snow! I hope you have all been snug inside and had no horrible journeys to content with!

I made this card for an order before Xmas and realised that I never got round to blogging it.  I love this sweet Penny Black stamp and thought it was time to give it an airing!

Happy New Layout .........................

Hi everyone, 2 posts in 1 day that doesn't happen very often!  Anyway I wanted to share this layout I made using a great sketch I made from Shimelle's blog.  Shimelle is going to be posting a weekly sketch and it is my aim to try and make a layout with each one. That will be 52 layouts by the end so I will have to see how I go with that challenge!

This layout is going to be the first page in my 2013 album and is Grace and her cousin having fun dressing up on New Year's Day.  Just have to finish off last year's now!

Winter Wonderland Challenge ...........

Hi everyone, as it's Friday  it's time for another challenge at Winter Wonderland and our theme for you this week is 'Travel'.  You don't have to make a Christmas themed project at the moment so I took the opportunity to make a holiday layout which I thought would be good for this theme. 

This is my sister and my little niece on our holiday back in 2011 that I'm still scrapping but I'm not behind it's all work in progress!

Happy New Year .............

Hi everyone, Happy New Year to you.  Well I'm hoping that 2013 is going to be a better year for me than 2012 was.   I've got 2 goals for 2013 and that is to beat these headaches and to lose the weight that I put on whilst I was ill so the diet starts next week when all the Xmas food is gone!

I thought I would share the cover of my Christmas album that I made a few days ago.  The deer was in a pack from my friend Marianne that she gave me for Christmas and I think that finished off my cover perfectly so thanks Marianne!

My December Scrapbook ..............

Hi everyone, well I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.  I had a great time at my sister's and I was pain free too so that was wonderful!

I finally got round to taking some pictures of my December Scrapbook to share with you.  This is the second year that I have taken Shimelle's Journal Your Christmas Online Scrapbooking Class.  I love Shimelle's classes and this one is my favourite.  Shimelle sends you prompts each day for the class as well as a photo prompt.  Sometimes I follow the prompts and sometimes I just journal about what we have done each day. 

So this is day 1 in my Xmas Scrapbook which is Grace and her cousin Anya with their Advent Calendars. I'm doing well this year I'm up to day 12 already.  I'm still working on last year's album as well and I'm up to day 19 on that one!

Winter Wonderland Challenge..........

Hi everyone,  I'm still not ready for Christmas!  I still have more wrapping to do, it's the same every year I always leave it till the last minute.  So my plan is for me and Will to get it all done tonight hopefully with 2 of us it won't take too long as we have done some already.   

I'm off to have acupuncture tomorrow to help with my headaches. They are off and on at the moment but I'm hoping the acupuncture will help me be pain free for Christmas.   Who would have thought all I want for Christmas is to be pain free!  Shame you can't wrap that up and put under the tree!

Anyway enough of my rambles for one day and onto my card.  This week our challenge at Winter Wonderland is 'Wish Upon a Star'.   Your card can be Christmas or Non Christmas this week so I have gone for non Christmas and used an old Pollycraft image that I thought would be just right for our theme this week.

I hope you are all getting on well and prepared for Christmas more than I am!  Thank goodness I dont' have to cook Christmas dinner!
