As my husband Will has been at work all day and is still there, I thought I would make a card using this week's sketch from
Sketch Saturday.
I struggled with this card, I kept pulling it apart and adding and taking bits away, I'm still not quite sure about this one! I would welcome any comments please!
I am hoping Will might be home before 9.30pm but its very unlikely unless it rains, I better get doing my rain dance!

Hi Lynsey
I love your card!
Cute image!
love the twinkling paint on edwin hun. I don't hink it is you at all, I am not sure that the sketch really works, it seems unbalanced though it is. try adding a snowflake or something in the other corner and see if that works.

gorgeous card Lynsey, love cute Edwin and the papers are great :)x
Hi Lynsey
I personally think this card is fine. However when I'm not happy with something I know what it's like, you tend to keep fiddling. I usually try adding some larger embelishments to detract from the elements I don't like. For instance you could try grouping your flowers together across one corner rather than having them singly. Sometimes this has more impact than dotting them around. Try it and see what you think.

I think it's fab Lynsey - love the papers and colours. hugs Bev x
This card is Gorgeous....I think it's perfect just the way it is....consider the pattered paper an accent in themselves....Hugs, Ila
