Secret Craft Saturday Challenge ..........

This week's challenge over at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge is ' New Beginnings' and fits in perfectly with this card I made for an order for new Grandparents. I was asked to make the card in beige and cream and I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

I have had lots of orders for baby cards lately, I have another one which I will post tomorrow. I might have to rename my blog Lynsey's Place for baby cards soon!

Pollycraft Monday Challenge *16* ........

Allsorts Challenge ..........

This week's challenge over at Allsorts Challenge is to make a card with no stamped image. This would normally be a very difficult challenge for me, but I had an order for this card so its the bill nicely I think. The papers and image are printed off an Art Deco CD by Card Creations I think!

I hope you are all having a great weekend. The weather has been fantastic here today so we went to Sandringham for a picnic, I was a bit disappointed that the Queen didn't invite us in for tea though!

A card for twins .........

Hi everyone, this is another card for an order that I thought I would share with you and it also gives me the opportunity to wish everyone a lovely bank holiday weekend. I hope you all have lots of nice things planned. I am not sure what I am going to do as me and hubby both feel a bit under the weather! Never mind hopefully we will feel better tomorrow.

This is the box that I made for the card to go in. I also wrap my card in tissue paper before I put in the box which I think just makes it all look a bit more special.

Rock and Roll Card

Hi everyone I hope you are all well. This card was for an order for a lady who wanted a card for a musical couple that shared the same birthday. It isn't for any challenges but I thought I would share it with you.

And this is the inside of my card.

I also wanted to up date on my internet problems. I switched the modem off and back on and I now I can be on the internet without losing my connection thank goodness! I did still have problems getting on to blogs but I have changed the security settings and I think it is all sorted! I am now off to catch up with you all!

Triple Challenge Card and more Internet Problems

This card is for 3 challenges, the first is for this week's Sketch Saturday who have another fabby sketch this week. The second challenge this card is for is Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge whoose theme is glitter and the third is for Becky's Birthday Blog Candy . To enter Becky's Birthday Blog Candy you have to make a cute Birthday Card.

This super cute image is another from the Pollycraft Designs Cherry Kisses range and is called 'Fairy Socks'. I have also decorated the inside of my card, I really must keep this up!

I am having major internet connection problems at the moment. I have had to reconnect about 5 times just trying to write this post, the computer is very close to going out of the window any moment! Tiscali say the problem is with my computer but as it is less than a year old I am not conveniced! So I am sorry for not returning all comments to all my blogging buddies, I will as soon as I can!

I made this card for an order but it also fits the challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenge whoose theme was to make a card for a boy or man. The lady I made this card for requested a card with a chef on for her son so I thought this image from Charmed Cards and Crafts fitted the bill perfectly!

I also decorated the inside of the card and put a nice verse in.

There is another fabby sketch this week over at Sketch Saturday. This card is for my sister whoose birthday it is tomorrow so I hope she likes this. I love this great image which was kindly sent to me by one of my blogging buddies.

And this is the inside of my card. My sister loves baking cakes so I thought this image would finish the card off nicely and it is the nearest she will get to a cake off me as I don't do cakes, the last batch I attempted came out like rock cakes!

A card and some exciting news!

Hi everyone I hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend. I have had a fantastic day at Newmarket Races and I managed to pick 3 winning horses! I only came home about £3.00 better off so I won't be giving up the day job just yet!

Onto my exciting news, one of my cards has been featured in the readers gallery of this month issue of Simply Cards and Papercrafts!

Now onto my card, I had planned to put this into the Truly Scrumptious Challenge but I realized that you had to have something eat on the card and unless I pretend the number 1 is made out of icing I don't really think it fits the challenge! Never mind I enjoyed using the sketch!
