DT Call at Winter Wonderland and my Birthday Girl

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that Winter Wonderland are having a DT call at the moment as some of our lovely team are moving on to new things. Sadly Marianne and Kate the DT Co-ordinators are also leaving so myself and Deborah from the team are taking over as DT Co-ordinators.   I love being part of the Winter Wonderland team as without having to make my DT cards I know that I would not make a Christmas card every fortnight and it is wonderful by December to have a nice pile of cards without all the rush.  I used to get fed up of making loads of Christmas cards all in one go but making one a fortnight means I can really enjoy it and I use my Christmas stash all year long.  So I hope you will consider entering the DT call and joining our happy teams.

Well my little Grace turned 6 on Saturday and this is her with her cake made by my lovely sister. I can't believe she is 6 already, I want time to slow down now it's going too quick!

Crafty Ribbons Challenge ..............

Hi everyone,  I hope you are having a good week.  I've a few days off work to spend with Grace this week which is lovely so we have been busy catching up with family and friends.  It's lovely not having to get up so early for work and school not that Grace is sleeping in any later!

Anyway onto today's make which is my DT creation for Crafty Ribbons Challenge and our theme for you this week is 'Flower Power' and you must use a ribbon on your creation!  I have made a bookmark for DT creation using some of the fabulous ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and this one is called Flower Ribbon - Garland on Blue.  I can't take the credit for the design of this bookmark as I copied a photo from Pinterest.   It was just a photo from Flickr that had been pinned so I don't know who to credit for the design.  I have a slight addiction to that website! Does anyone else or is it just me!  I hope you will come along and join in our challenge this week.

As you can see the bookmark is in one of Grace's books.  This is her favourite book and we read the Christmas stories all year round and she was very happy to have a new bookmark to use.

A Butterfly in a Snowstorm?

Hi everyone, a strange title for a post but I think I might have got carried away with my frantage on this card!  I did not intend to get it everywhere but I kept blowing it away and burning my fingers when I was trying to heat it from below and got in a real muddle!  I'm hoping it will add to the vintage look but I fear more that it looks like my pretty butterflies are in a snowstorm!  Never mind I will try harder with the less is more look when I use frantage next time lol!

Anyway this is my DT card for Crafty Little Fairies and our challenge for you this week is 'Vintage/Shabby Chic'.  I have used one of my new stamps that I brought on Sunday at the Craft Fair from the Little Claire stand.  Their stand always looks so lovely with the cards on display.
