A Music Themed Engagement Card ........

Hi everyone and happy Saturday to you.  I've had a super busy week with it being half term.  I've got my niece staying for a few days and I'm her and Grace to them to see a production of Grease this afternoon that is put on by the amateur dramatics group that runs in my village.  We have got good seats near the front so I hope it will be good.  Grace loves seeing a show and gets very grumpy when it ends as she doesn't want it finish!

Anyway onto my card   I was asked recently to make an engagement card with a music theme.  I was stumped on that one for a moment and then I remembered the gorgeous music ribbon and thought that would be the perfect way to incorporate music into my card!

Time to Twirl!

Hi everyone, I'm back today with another layout to share.  This is Grace twirling in a new nightie that she got for her Birthday.   I snapped this picture on my phone and I just loved the expression on Grace's face so I had to scrap it!   These are the little things we don't do as adults and they are fun to remember.

An Oriental Themed Card ............

Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying the bank holiday weekend.  We were out round friends yesterday for a BBQ so we have had a day at home today.  I managed to make one card that just didn't go right so I've given up crafting as a bad job today!  

I made this layout a few days ago using a sketch  from Stuck May 1st Sketch Challenge.  I would like to enter my layout into the challenge.

Winter Wonderland Challenge .............

A Spot of Gardening Fishing ...........

My Sister's Birthday Card ........

Hi everyone, I hope you have had a great weekend.  I have a card to share today that I made for my sister's Birthday yesterday.  This is a bit different for me as I made the background using chalk paint and a mask.  I really enjoyed getting some paint out.  Then I did some little splatters using some gold paint.

Lovely You Scrapbook Page .............

Hi everyone and happy Saturday to you.  I hope you are enjoying the weekend. I'm off to my sister's later today as it's her Birthday and we are going out for a meal so I'm looking forward to that. 

My layout today is one that I made to go in a frame to go hang in Grace's bedroom.  I took some inspiration from one of Wilna Furstenberg's layouts to make this page.  I'm really pleased with how it turned out and Grace really likes on her wall so that is good!

A Card in a box .......

Hi everyone, I have a card in a box to share with you today which I made for Grace's Birthday back in April.  I used a kit to make the card that I won in a candy giveaway from my buddy Donna so this was nice and easy to make!  I mounted the LOTV fairies onto acetate so it looks like they are flying, well that was the idea anyway!

A Hedgy Cutie ...............

Hi all, I hope you are having a good weekend.  I've had a very productive day today, I've done some housework, ironing, gardening and baking and now time to play in the craft room!  I've an order for a card to make and I'm hoping to get a layout made as well but we will see how the time goes!

Anyway onto today's card, I made this one with a little Hedgy with Bee card topper from Pink Gem.  I don't know who this card is for yet, it was just having a play in the craft room type of card!

A Wedding Card with a Difference!

Hi everyone, I hope your weekend is going well.  I have an unusal wedding card to share with you today.  I was asked to make a wedding card with zoo animals on as the couple are getting married in a zoo!  I had to really get my thinking cap on for this one! I used a great wedding image Little Claire Silhouette Wedding digi for the wedding couple and I found the lion and giraffe images online and put them all together.  The lady I made it for came to collect it today and it made her cry she was so pleased!

Little Claire Digi Challenge ..............

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday to you.  I have my DT card for the Little Claire Digi Challenge to share with you today.  Our theme for you this time is 'Monochromatic' so I decided to get ahead and get a Father's Day card made for my Dad using a great digi Motorbike image from Little Claire.  I teamed the image up with some cog dies that I brought at Ally Pally when I went last month and I embossed them with silver and black embossing powders.  I was quite pleased with how they turned out.

Hi everyone, well if you know the Frozen film I'm sure you will have burst into song by now!  My little Grace is frozen mad so I really needed to do a layout to document that story and how she loves dressing up as Elsa! I'm sure it will be fun to look back on when she is all grown up!

A Card for a Runner ...................

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a good bank holiday weekend.  Well I completed my race on Sunday and Grace and Will did the fun run.  I managed to run 10k in 58 minutes and 35 seconds so I was really pleased with that.  We all got completely soaked but it was all worth it when we got our lovely medals.  We certainly did laugh about the rain as it poured it down as you will see from the photo below I look like a drowned rat lol!

Anyway onto the card, one of the ladies in my running group ran the London marathon last weekend so I made a card from the group to give to her.  I used a digi from Polka Doodles on my card and a mix of papers from stash, a memory box precious star die and a sentiment I printed on my computer.

Dance Buddies Layout ............

Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the bank holiday weekend.  I'm off  to run in a 10k race this morning in King's Lynn but it is forecast heavy rain all morning just my luck!  Never mind I will feel good afterwards even I do get completely soaked!  

Anyway onto my layout this was Grace with her dance buddies back stage at her recent dance show. One of  her friend's mums took this photo, it would have been better if Grace was looking at the camera but it's still a lovely memory for her to look back on.

National Scrapbooking Day!!!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.  It's National Scrapbooking Day today so I thought I should share a recent layout that I made.  This is an 8 x 8 page that I made and I have put this in box frame and hung it up in my kitchen.  It's the first time I have had a go with adding paint splatters to a layout but I really like the effect so I think I will be doing it again!  I added a bit of glitter to the wet paint so it has a bit of a sparkle to it as well. 

Have you anything nice planned for today?  Me and Grace are having a girly day together, we are going out for lunch to a gorgeous teashop called Florence's in King's Lynn where they make the most delicious homemade cakes and then a bit of clothes shopping and then some craft shopping in the Range.  Then I hope to fit in a bit of crafty time when I get home!
