Crafty Ribbons Challenge and the Handmade Fair ............

Hi all, this post is a bit late for my Crafty Ribbons Challenge as I've had one of those weeks when I felt I was on a roller coaster and couldn't get off!  My little Grace was really poorly in hospital all last weekend as she couldn't stop being sick. Thankfully she is better now and back to normal.  On top of that I have just started an evening college course for work and I have had tons of homework so I've been having to do that every evening till gone 10pm so there has been no time for blogging, crafting or anything else! Finally I have a day at home today so I'm going to spend a bit of time in the craft room this afternoon!

So back to the challenge, our theme for you this time is Birthday so I nice easy one for you this week. I do hope you will come along and join in our challenge. There is a wonderful prize for the winner.

I did manage to fit one lovely thing in last week though and that was a trip The Handmade Fair in London that is organised by Kirstie Allsop.  I loved my day there.  There was a little paper crafting but not too much and all sorts of other crafts.  I'm a crafter who likes to dabble in all sorts of crafts so this was a perfect day out for me!  There were also lots of makers there as well that sold beautifully crafted items.   I took a needle felting workshop and made some bees which was great fun so of course I had to buy a kit to have a go at home. I also brought a kit to do some stamping on fabric and a folk art kit.  I'm not sure when I think I'm going to get time to do all these crafts but hopefully sometime soon lol! I also hope to catch up with all my blogging buddies very soon too!

Here are a few photos from my day:

Thanks for stopping by.

Wow, it really has been a rollercoaster of a week for you but I'm glad to hear that there were highs like the Handmade Fair and that the low point of Grace being unwell has resolved now.
Your card has a beautiful vintage style, which suits the image so perfectly, and the colour combo is gorgeous :-)
Good luck with the evening course too, and all that homework - boo :-(
Big hugs, Kat xx
