Hi everyone, my blog has been a bit quite this last week as April is my busiest month for Birthdays. I have 10 Birthday's and Grace's is on Saturday so I have been busy trying to get all my cards made which has left little time for blogging but I will try and catch up with you all again tonight.

A Butterfly in a Snowstorm?

Hi everyone, a strange title for a post but I think I might have got carried away with my frantage on this card!  I did not intend to get it everywhere but I kept blowing it away and burning my fingers when I was trying to heat it from below and got in a real muddle!  I'm hoping it will add to the vintage look but I fear more that it looks like my pretty butterflies are in a snowstorm!  Never mind I will try harder with the less is more look when I use frantage next time lol!

Anyway this is my DT card for Crafty Little Fairies and our challenge for you this week is 'Vintage/Shabby Chic'.  I have used one of my new stamps that I brought on Sunday at the Craft Fair from the Little Claire stand.  Their stand always looks so lovely with the cards on display.

A Mother's Day Card ..................

Hi everyone, I hope you have had a good day.  I have had a lovely day, I got some lovely gifts from Grace, she choose some flowers with glitter on and she made me a lovely decoupatch letter M with her childminder.  I will take a picture of that tomorrow to show you.  I also went to a craft show at Thetford and brought some lovely new stash with my friend Marianne then I had tea at my mum's.

The card I have to show you today is the Mother's Day card I made for my mum and mum in law as I made them the same.  I made it using decoupage and papers from the new docrafts range but I can't remember the name!

Hi everyone, and happy Thursday to you! This week's challenge at Crafty Ribbons is 'Anything Goes with Ribbon' so a nice easy challenge if you love ribbon as much as I do!  I have been having great fun using the gorgeous ribbons from Crafty Ribbons on my sewing projects.   This flower is a brooch I made for Grace which I'm pleased to say she loved as she loves all things pretty just like I do!

The ribbon I have used is Grosgain Swiss Dot - Light Pink and White from Crafty Ribbons and the button is

A Birthday Card ........................

Hi everyone, well we have had some lovely weather here in Norfolk over the weekend and we even managed to have a bag of chips watching the sun set at Hunstanton yesterday as well!  That is in between taking Grace to 2 Birthday parties, she has such a better social life than me!
