Welcome Little One..............

Hi everyone, just one final post before my hols. This baby card is for my sister whose baby is due on Tuesday. Now I have given her strict instructions that the baby is not to arrive until I get back from holiday lol! My sister does not know whether she is having a girl or a boy but she has decorated her nursery in a Beatrix Potter theme and her favourite characther is Peter Rabbit. If she has a girl I will just have to add a few pink embellishments! I wanted to have the card already for when I get back so I am all ready to go and visit my new niece or nephew.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Crafters Companion Challenge who have a wonderful sketch for their first challenge.
By the Cute and Girly whose theme is 'something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue..'

Thanks for stopping by.

Sketch & Stash Challenge ..........

Hi everyone, I can't believe how cold it has been, I think the autumn has arrived already!
Anyway enough of my weather report, onto my card. I made this card for my mum to give to my cousin whoose baby is now overdue so we should have a new arrival in the family any day now! I used my new Whiff of Joy stamp which I just love and the fantastic sketch over at Sketch and Stash worked really well on a bigger card. I made the flowers myself using various sized retro punches. I am quite pleased with how this one turned out.

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

Baby Cards

I adapted the sketch from mypaperworld.blogspot.com for these baby cards and I am quite pleased with the results. At last I am building up a little stock of cards instead of rushing everytime I need to make one! I have really enjoyed using card sketches, it makes the creative process so much easier!
