A Gem of a Challenge ...............

Hi all, and happy Saturday to you!  It's time for a new challenge at A Gem of a Challenge and our theme for you this time is 'Add a Butterfly'.  This little cute digi imaged called Ella already had a cute butterfly on it so I thought she would be perfect for this challenge. 

I've added the image to an mdf heart with some paper flowers to finish it off.

As always there is a wonderful prize for the winner so I hope you will come along and join in with our challenge.

Celebrating Something New

Hi all and happy Saturday to you.  I'm back with my DT card for A Gem of a Challenge and our theme for you this time is 'Celebrating Something New',  I decided to use this cute image called Snail Home for my new home card.   I also used another of my new Christmas presents from my friend Marianne which is the cute house border die from Lawn Fawn.

Pink Gem Challenge - Anything Goes for Christmas

Hi I've been on a bit of a blogging break as I've been busy doing a college course. Thank goodness it has now finished and I passed!  Now I can get back to my crafting and blogging!

I've my DT card for the current challenge Pink Gem Designs to share with you today. Our theme is nice easy one and is 'Anything Goes for Christmas'  I have used a super cute Cosy Penguin Card Topper to make my card.

Favourite Colour Combo at A Gem of a Challenge ..............


Hi all and happy Saturday to you!  I'm feeling a little better today but I'm still achy and so tired! I hope I perk up a bit more by tomorrow as I've got a 10k race to take part in on Sunday!   I'm off for a little ride out today to see my friend Marianne at a craft fair so hopefully that won't tire me out too much!

I've gone for pink and white on my card as I just love these colours together!  I made this card for my Auntie using a gorgeous card topper kit called Pink shoes and Prosecco.

A Gem of a Challenge ................


Hi all and happy Saturday to you.  This is a scheduled post as I shall be out doing a 19 mile training run for my marathon by the time you read this.  It is fore cast heavy rain all morning so I can't say as I'm looking forward to being out in it for 3 and half hours but if I'm going to run this marathon next month it must be done!  

Anyway onto my card which is for the spring theme that I choose this time at A Gem of a Challenge. As always there is a fantastic prize for the winner so I hope you will come along and join in the challenge this time. 

I have used a gorgeous image on my card called Chloe with Bunny, some papers from my stash, a memory box bunting die, a free embossing folder for quick cards this month and a flower die I got at a show, not sure the make of that!

Dad's Birthday Card ...............


Hi all I hope your week is going well.  It was my Dad's Birthday last week and this is the card that I made for him. I've not made a man's card for a while and I was really pleased how this one turned out.  I used a great coloured digi called Dave with Wine from Pink Gem Designs.  I just had to use this image for my dad as he is actually called Dave and he loves a glass of red wine lol!

A Gem of a Challenge .........


Hi and happy Saturday to you!  Do you have lots of nice things planned for today?  I'm planning a few hours in the craft room today and then me and Will are going out for a meal tonight which should be nice.

Crafty Ribbons Challenge ...........


Hi all, just a quick post from me today to share my card for the Craft Ribbons Challenge as me and Grace are both poorly.  I think we have got a virus that has been going round Grace's school.   Poor Grace has missed going to a Panto with the school today so she was very upset this morning.

Hi all, well December is speeding along just a little too quickly but I have nearly finished my Christmas shopping which is good!  

I have made a start on my December scrapbook album but I will share that another day, so I am making progress lol!

Time to get Frosty at Crafty Ribbons ..........

A Gem of a Challenge .........

A Gem of a Challenge


Hi everyone, I'm back with my second card today for my DT card for A Gem of a Challenge and our theme for you this time is 'Boys, Boys, Boys'!  Grace had a party to go to last week so this is the card that I made for her to take.  It was for my childminders son and he really liked it so that was nice!  I used a fab card topper Super Hero Andy 2.  I decoupaged the main image as they come with the topper kit as does the 5 today.

I'm sorry I have not done too much commenting lately, I've been busy working on sponsorship for Winter Wonderland and some DT work.  There are just not enough hours in the day!
