Dream, Wish, Believe ............

Hi all, I've a card today sharing some ribbon inspiration for Crafty Ribbons. I thought these beautiful Dream, Wish, Believe  ribbons would work well on a love themed card so I've teamed them up a Crafter's Companion embossing folder.  I add a bit of distress ink to some of the flowers and birds and I was quite pleased with how it turned out.

I hope you have a wonderful day whatever your plans.  I'm off work again this week so I'm taking Grace to a Jewellery making workshop and roller skating later at our local leisure centre so she is looking very forward to that.

Thanks for stopping by.

Snowmen at Crafty Ribbons ...............

Hi everyone, I hope your week is going well.  I've got a few days off this week as it is half term to spend with Grace so we have some busy days ahead.  We are off to an animal farm tomorrow, a dinsosaur park on Friday and a Halloween Fairy Fair on Saturday.  I think I may need a rest by Sunday lol!

Anyway onto my card, our challenge over at Crafty Ribbons this week is 'Snowmen'  so I nice easy challenge if you are as keen on snowmen as I am!  I decided to give one of my cd's an airing and use this sweet image from the Christmas Moonbeam Meadow by Crafter's Companion. I've added some LOTV papers, memory box snowflakes and some gorgeous Snowmen Combo Festive Ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

I hope you will come along and join in with the Challenge.

Ribbon Inspiration ..............

Hi everyone, I have some ribbon inspiration with you today.  I love adding bows to my cards but rather than tie my ribbon into a bow I sew a couple of little stitches into the centre which makes my ribbon sit much flatter onto my card and then I hide the stitching by putting a flower in the centre.

The beautiful ribbon I have used on my card is Swiss Dot - Beauty and White by Crafty Ribbons

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

A Gift Bag ..............

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a good weekend.  I have had a nice day, a bit of crafting this morning and me and Grace have been to a friend's this afternoon.  Hubby cooked a curry for tea and now time for a bit of blogging.

I have a gift bag to share with you tonight which I made to put a friend's Birthday present in last week.  It was such a dull day last Saturday when I made it I had to put it on the window sill to get some light for the photo!

I made the bag using papers and toppers from the Bebunni Floral CD.  I added a little bit of stitching to the papers which is my new favourite thing at the moment and a few die cut flowers and it was done!

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

A Birthday Card .................

Hi everyone and happy Monday to you! It's my first day back at work today after having 2 weeks off so I have scheduled this post. This is a recent Birthday card that I made using the Bebunni floral CD.    I decided to get my sewing machine out to use on my card as I have not used it on my cards for a while but I really love the look of stitching on cards so I must do it more often!

Nesting Boxes ............

Hi everyone, I have something different to share with you today a nest of boxes already for my demo day at Huntingdon Garden and Leisure which is from 10a-4pm.  I've scheduled this post so hopefully me and my boxes should be well on our way by the time you read this!

These boxes are actually quite large as each one is 5 inches deep.  I made them with my Crafter's Companion Ulti Boxes Board. I'm really pleased with how they turned out. As the largest box is quite big you could fit a lovely sized gift in them. Would be lovely for a crafter filled with nice crafty bits!

The flower on the middle box is made using the Crafter's Companion Large Sunflower Quilling Die I think this may be a new favourite as I've only had this one a short while but I really love it!

I would like to enter these into the following challenges:

Hotshot Crafts Anything But a Card
Incy Wincy Anything But a Card

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.

Crafter's Companion Mid Way Challenge Reminder ...

Hi everyone,  my card today is my DT card for Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge mid way inspiration.  This is one of the super cute card companions from the Winter Paint Box Poppets Cd from Crafter's Companion.

The theme for the challenge this month is 'Gold'.   I don't normally use much gold on my cards so I had to have a rummage round to find some.  I'm sure I've only had this piece at least 5 years!  It did feel good to use it lol!

I do hope you will come and join in the challenge this month, there is a fanstic prize for the winner!
