Celebrating Something New

Hi all and happy Saturday to you.  I'm back with my DT card for A Gem of a Challenge and our theme for you this time is 'Celebrating Something New',  I decided to use this cute image called Snail Home for my new home card.   I also used another of my new Christmas presents from my friend Marianne which is the cute house border die from Lawn Fawn.

A New Home Card ..................

Hi all and happy Friday to you!  I've been a bad blogger this last week.  We went away to Ireland at the weekend and it's taken me all week to catch up!  I've also been doing lots of running for my marathon training.  I ran 20 miles this morning, that's the last long run done now which I'm pleased about!  

Anyway onto my card, this was a card for one of my friends, who has just recently moved.  I used the Moonbeam Meadow CD from Crafter's Companion for the papers and image.  I love teapots but I can't stand tea!

A New Home Card .............

Hi everyone, happy Monday to you!  I have a new home card to share with you today.  I've not made a new home card for ages but a friend of mine recently moved so this is the card I made her. I used a sweet bird house stamp from Dreamees on my card.  The new home banner flags were cut from some craft work cards paper.   I used one of my favourite ribbons on this card which is the 15mm satin micro dot ribbon in hot pink and then I finished off the card with a pretty pastel heart button both from the Craft Ribbons Store.

A Place in the Sun .......

Hi everyone, well I wish I could say I was off to a place in the sun but unfortunatley that is not the case. I do however have the next best thing which is a wonderful new stamp from Little Claire's called 'A Place in the Sun'. This stamp also comes with window above but I have just used the bottom of the stamp for my card with a lovely sentiment that it comes with. I think this would make a lovely new home card.

I am entering this card into this week's challenge at Friday Sketchers who have another fabby sketch to follow.

Friday Sketchers ........

Friday Sketchers have a fantastic sketch this week. I really enjoyed making this card using my new Daisy Bucket papers which I love! This card is for one of my friend's who has just moved home so I hope that she will like it.
