Tag it at Craft Ribbons ......................

Hi all and happy Thursday to you!  I'm having such a lovely week being off work.  On Monday we had a lovely lunch out with my friend Marianne and her husband Graham. Tuesday we went to Banham Zoo and yesterday we went to Thursford.

Anyway onto my tags which are my DT make for our new challenge over at Crafty Ribbons
and our theme this time is 'Tag It'.  I love making tags so I really enjoyed taking part in this challenge.  I've used some beautiful Grosgrain Ribbon Swiss Dot in Candyfloss on my tags, some paper from my stash and some new stamps and dies from Mama Elephant.  I do hope you will come along and join in with our challenge this time.

If you love ribbon you may also be interested in the Design Call at Crafty Ribbons. You can find out all the details here.

A Tag ..........

Hi everyone, well I've had a very busy day, I took Grace to another Birthday party this morning then onto her ballet lesson so we've not been home long.  I'm just waiting for Will to get home and then we are off to my sister's for the night so that will be nice.

Anyway this tag was for the present that Grace took to her party today.  The great pirate image on this tag is from Pollycraft Designs and is from the Swings and Slides range.

I am entering this tag into a challenge from Shimelle's Pretty Paper Party and the challenge at Squiggle Saturday where the challenge is anything but a card.

Thanks for stopping by.

A Christmas Tag ........

Hi everyone, over at Shimelle's blog she is having a weekend of Christmas crafting.   There are some challenges and tutorials so do check her blog out is well worth a visit!

I made this tag using up some scraps which is for a challenge to 'Create a holiday gift tag design that’s easy to replicate!' You can see the challenge here along with a great tutorial on making gift tags.

As this was a quick and easy tag to make they would be quick to make up in batches using all my left over scraps.

Thanks for stopping by.

Tag Your It ........

Well I got mum's birthday card made now this is the tag to go on her present. I'm making her a digital brag book to fit in a 6x4 album so probably won't get anymore cards made for a few days as I haven't started it yet and her birthday is on Saturday! I am going to fill the book with pictures of Grace.

Anyway back to this tag as I was going to make a tag I thought I might as well take part in the challenge at Tag Your It where the challenge this week is 'Needle & Thread' and you have to include either machine or hand stitching on your tag. This is not something I would normally do as I'm not very good at sewing but I quite enjoyed putting the stitching on this tag. That's why I love challenges as they stretch to you to do things you wouldn't normally do!

Thanks for stopping by, please leave me a comment if you have time.
