Gift Tags ...........................

Hi everyone, I hope your Christmases all went well and you had a lovely time.    Mine went very well.  This year it only took 1 oven to cook the Christmas dinner unlike last Christmas day when my oven packed up and it took 3 to get it cooked so in my book that's a success!

Anyway this is just a quick post tonight to share a couple of gift tags that I made recently for some presents.  I made them using some left over bits I had printed off from the Bebunni Floral CD.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Christmas!

Hi everyone, and Happy Christmas to you all!   One last Christmas card to share with you which is the card that I made for Will.   I know it does not say husband on it but I didn't have a stamp to fit so I saved the husband bit for inside the card!

I really enjoyed making this card using just dies, it is a bit different for me.  I must make more cards like this as they are so effective and don't take hours to make!

Anyway, I hope you are all having a lovely Christmas, I hope to catch up with you all soon/

Hi everyone I'm back with another crafty make today for the Crafty Ribbons 12 Days of Christmas event.  We have loads of fab sponsors today so if you have time join the link up please pop over and take a look.  This is a stocking I have made to put my Mum's presents in I think I need a bit more practise at sewing curves!  Let me know if you have any tips!

The gorgeous ribbon that I have used on my stocking is Vintage Christmas Past which is a lovely thick ribbon and just perfect for sewing projects.

My cough is starting to get a little better at least I don't feel like I want to cough all the time now so thanks to everyone that wished me well.

I do have one more post for tomorrow but it will be a scheduled one as I don't think I will get time to get near the computer on Christmas day!

So have a fab time everyone and thanks to all who stop by.

The Little Red Robin ......................

Hi everyone, please scroll down to my previous post for my details of my candy winner.

I hope you are well and have had a good weekend.  I have had a lovely day out today at the Christmas Market at Bury St Edmunds with Grace, my sister and my little niece Anya.  I got a few Christmas presents which was good, not too many left to get now!

On to my card, I brought this super cute little robin a few weeks ago and decided to paper piece him.   I have not added too much embellishment to this card as I need a few flatter ones for posting.

I Wanna Build a Snowman!

Hi everyone, I hope your week is going well. It's about this time of year that I always start to feel a bit over whelmed with all I still need to do to be ready for Christmas.  Do you feel like that or is it just me?   I always end being ready in the end but at the moment it feels like a daunting task ahead with cards still to make, presents still to buy, and a  Christmas dinner to organise along with loads of busy nights and weekends out.   I wish a fairy could just come along and wave her wand and it would all be done!  Failing that I will just have to take one day at a time and do what I can!

Anyway onto this jolly snowman that I brought when I went to the NEC recently.  I have decoupaged his scarf but I'm not sure you can see that from the photo. I used some frantage on my lamp post and snowflake for a little snowy sparkle and my favourite Xmas papers from Dovecraft oh and the Snowman stamp is a Woodware one.

A Trio of Christmas Tags ......

Hi everyone, I hope your weekend is going well.  I've had a busy day taking my Mum and Dad out for a few hours today and doing some baking with Grace this afternoon.

Firstly onto my tags, did I tell you I have a bit of thing for making tags at the moment!  I made these using some scraps of paper, the images are from the Moonbeam Meadow CD from Crafter's Companion and were just the right size to be made into tags!

Back to the baking, me and Grace had a practise at making some Christmas biscuits this afternoon. I didn't expect the recipe to make quite so many but we ended up with 3 plate fulls! I think we will need to deliver some to the Grandparents tomorrow!    Me and Grace did have lots of fun making these though!

I would like to enter my tags into the following challenges:

A Frozen Bag ..............

Hi everyone, sorry for my lack of blogging and returning your comments.  We were away for part of last week during the school holidays and when I came back my Dad was in hospital having a knee operation and my Nan also got admitted to hospital so last week was spent back and forth to the hospital the whole time! Dad is now home but Nan is still in hospital.   Stressful times for my family at the moment.

Anyway enough of my troubles, I thought I would share a Frozen themed bag that I made for my Niece a while ago for her Birthday.  The bag is lined with star patterned fabric the same as the on the dress and the handle of the bag.

Tom Boy for a Day ..................

Hi everyone, I hope you are all having a good weekend.  I have a layout to share with you today.  This layout is about Grace wearing a baseball cap to the side is the closest she comes to being  a Tom boy as given the chance Grace will choose to wear a dress or skirt any day as she loves all things girly!  I took these pictures last year and I have been wanting to scrap them for ages so I'm really pleased to have this page in my album.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Gold .........................

Hi everyone, gold is our theme for this week's Challenge over at Winter Wonderland this week so we want to see gold embellishments, gold pen, gold glitter etc!  I have used gold card, gold glitter and there is gold in the frantage that I used on the holly leaves.  It looks much more sparkly in real life but it's always difficult to get that to show in a photo!

We have 2 wonderful sponsors this week who are:

and

The gorgeous image on my card is from Delicious Doodles and is called poinsettia corner
I printed the image out twice so I could decoupage the poinsettia but I'm not sure you can see that from the photo.  I was very pleased with how this one turned out though.

A Birthday Layout .................

I

Hi everyone and happy Sunday to you.  I hope your weekend is going well and you have managed to fit in some crafty time.  I'm hoping to fit some in this afternoon after I've done some housework this morning.

I have a double layout to share with you today of Grace's 6th Birthday party. I am really enjoying making double layouts as it's so nice to scrap so many pictures all at once!  The only downside is that they are hard to photograph!  Grace loves looking at my scrapbooks now so I hope that will continue as she grows older and lots of happy memories to look back on.

Meeting Fairies ............

Hi everyone, I seem to start a lot of my posts with fairies in the title, but I'm sure you know by now I'm away with the fairies half the time!  Today's layout is all about me and Grace meeting real live giant fairies at the Fairy Fair!  The Fairy Fair takes place in Holt in Norfolk twice a year and it's a lovely magical day for Grace oh and me as well!

I used a great layout to scraplift this page which is the October challenge over at Scrapology which I would like to enter with this layout.

I started this layout on Friday when I had a lovely scrapbooking day at my friend Marianne's.  Marianne also used this layout, you can see Marianne's page here, it's funny that they are so different!

I used a sweet bird house stamp from Dreamees on my card.  The new home banner flags were cut from some craft work cards paper.   I used one of my favourite ribbons on this card which is the 15mm satin micro dot ribbon in hot pink and then I finished off the card with a pretty pastel heart button both from the Craft Ribbons Store.

Being Tinkerbell .............

Hi everyone, I hope your week has got off to a good start.    I have a layout to share with you tonight of Grace dressed up as Tinkerbell at the Fairy Fair we went to back in May.   I've started going to a weekly scrapbooking class/crop which I'm really enjoying as you get a lovely kit to work with and sometime to just sit and scrapbook which I hardly ever have time to do at home.  It's good to be getting some more photos and memories scrapped!  I've also got a lovely day of scrapbooking to look forward to on Friday as I'm going over to my friend Marianne's for the day.
