Something different ..........


Hi everyone well its nearly the weekend! I decided to have ago at something different today. I have been seeing all these felt brooches about and although I am not really able to sew very well I thought I would have go at making some myself. I was amazed how easy these were to make.I cut the felt using nesties and my cuttlebug. I couldn't believe how easy the felt cut, then I just sewed on a button and a brooch pin at the back.

I would love to know what you think to them as I am planning to give some as presents for Christmas, do you think they are good enough? I would also like to know whether you like the plain one or the one with stitching on best?

5 in 1 Challenge Card ..........


Hi everyone, I made this card yesterday which is just as well as not feeling very good today, think I have the bug Grace had last weekend. There are some great challenges about this week and this card is for 5. The first challenge this card is for is Sunday Sketch and Sketch, I really loved this sketch and will use this one again. The second challenge is Simon Says Stamp who have a theme of sparkle.
The third challenge is La La Land Crafts whose theme is use Ribbon, the fourth challenge is for Creative Card Crew who have a theme of 'snowflakes' and finally Winter Wonderland who have an open this week.
The gorgeous image on my card is from the soon to be released Joy Tidings range from Pollycraft Designs how cute are those slippers!

A Green Card ..........

Sketch Saturday ............


Hi everyone, well I am finished work for the week and I have a day to myself tomorrow to make cards! With a 18th month little girl this is a very rare occasion!
Well onto my card, I made this as a thank you for my friend Marianne who brought me back some lovely gifts crafty gifts from America, I know she has the card now so its safe to put it on my blog.
I have used this week's sketch from Sketch Saturday for my card and used my new Martha Stewart punch for the flowers one of my pressies from Marianne. The fantastic image on my card is from Pollycraft Designs and is called Melody My Fairytale from the Sweet Dreams Range the gorgeous papers on my card are also from Pollycraft Designs and are called 'Dusty Roses'.

The pollycraft challenge is still running as normal, and this week we have a colour scheme for you which is tangerine, turquiose and chocolate. Now these are not colours I would normally put together but I am really pleased with the results. My DT card features 'Sassy Ginger' from Pollycraft Designs .

A card at last!!!


Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. We had a great weekend last week visiting Bath and Longleat Safari Park. When I got back I had some card orders to make so I have been busy making them as they had to be ready tonight.
So finally a card this is one of the cards for my order and was to make a wedding card with autumn colours. I struggled with this but in the end I found this lovely papers from DCWV in my stash and thought they would work ok. I am entering this card into the Cute Daisy May Challenge as there theme is 'I love you' so I thought a wedding card would be perfect for that.

Sketch Saturday ........


Hi everyone, my last post for this week as I am going away for a long weekend tomorrow. We are off to Bath for the weekend and going to visit Longleat Safari Park. I am so looking forward to taking my little girl Grace their as she gets excited when she sees a dog so I am not sure what she will make of the all the animals at Longleat!

Willow Sketchie Challenge 14th October ........

Triple Challenge Card .......


I hope you are all well. I don't know whats the matter with me tonight I have cried at Holby City and then at Joan Collin's glamor programme! I never used to cry this easily but since having Grace I can cry at the drop of hat!
Anyway onto my card, I decided to do a bit of decoupage for a change as I have not done any for ages and I quite enjoyed it. My card is for three challenges the first is for a great sketch from PaperPlay Challenges and the second is for My Time to Craft Challenge who have a theme of 'Quick and Cute'. Well this card was certainly quick to make it made me realise just how long I spend colouring images! The third challenge this card is for is One Stop Craft Challenge
whose them is 'Happy Birthday'.

Double Challenge Card ..........


My final card for today is a wedding card that I have made for an order. I was asked to make a card using autumn colours so I have gone for gold and and light orange. I hope that the lady I have made it for will like it. I have used my new Whiff of Joy stamp which I love!

The 2 challenges that this card is for is Allsorts Challenge whose theme is 'Autumn Days' and the second challenge is Die Cut Dreams whose theme is 'Ribbon and Trims'.

Triple Challenge Card ............


Hi everyone, this card is for 3 challenges, the first is for Sketch Saturday who have a fantastic sketch this week. I rotated the sketch and I am quite pleased with the results. The second challenge this card is for is A Spoon Full of Sugar who have a theme of 'Christmas'. The third challenge this card is for Dare u 2 Digi Stamp and their theme is to add die cuts or punched shapes to your cards.

The gorgeous image on my card is a digi download from Pollycraft Designs and is called 'Thomas with Puppy' from the Enchanted Noel range.

The buttons on my card have been made using the Friday Freebie from Pollycraft Designs Blog which you will be able to get tomorrow. There are also some flower and heart buttons. I have added some glossy acents to my buttons to make them shiny.
