Easter Decor ............

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a good day.  Me and Grace had an Easter craft day on Sunday and the first thing we made was an Easter tree.  I've seen lots of these on pinterest so I decided to have a go myself.  We sent Will off to get some twigs and I put them in some blue tack at the bottom of the jug so they would stand up straight.  I brought the little decorations from a gift shop a few weeks ago and the eggs were from Poundland.

This is a close up of one of our bunny decorations:

The next thing we did was make an Easter bunny garland to go on the dresser in the kitchen.  Now I can't take the credit for this garland as I saw it on another blog here and you can download the bunny printable from there too.

Me and grace made this together as she cut out some of the bunnies and made some pom poms with my new pom pom makers which make them very quick and easy to do.

And this is a bit of a closer view:

And finally a wooden bunny that I brought Grace to colour in:

4th Birthday Layout ..............

Hi everyone and happy Monday to you!  I'm back with another layout made at the crop I go to.  Grace is now coming up to her 7th Birthday next month, so it was good to get these photos scrapped!  I really don't know where the years are going to, they are just flying by far to quick for my liking!

The papers are lawn fawn and the flower die is a sizzix one belonging to the shop.  It's quite a simple layout but I like it and it's another precious memory captured!

Thanks for stopping by.

Birthday Cupcakes ..........

Hi everyone, well another week is whizzing by again.   I have a layout to share with you tonight of a few pictures I took on Will's birthday last year.  I made this page at a crop I go to at a lovely craft shop near me called Sprinkle Twinkle and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

The lovely banner dies I have used are by Lawn Fawn but they are not mine they belong to Natalie who owns the shop.  We get to use lots of lovely dies at the crop and these ones are on my list for when I go to Ally Pally next month!  The papers are also by lawn fawn.

Thanks for stopping by.

Something Different and My Half Marathon

Hi everyone I hope your week is going well.  I have something different to share with you today, I love my scrapbooking but I never have time to record all the stories and photos that I want to.  After watching some videos on Youtube recently about project life I decided that I would give it go and I am so enjoying it!  I'm not doing weekly pages how some people do, I am doing monthly ones and it just depends on how much I have done that month as to how many pages I will create.  I am just going to see how it goes.  I will still do some regular layouts as well and I plan to put them all in the same album.  On this layout I've also included a little picture that Grace made me with a lovely little note on.  I'm so pleased I have a special space to store her little notes as well.

Thank you to everyone that left me messages about my half marathon run on Sunday. I did manage it, I was really pleased as I ran the whole race with out stopping in 2 hours 17 minutes and 42 seconds!  The seconds are important!  The only disappointing thing about the race was that I got overtaken by a minion lol!

Here is a picture of me with my sister, her husband and some friends who all ran the race:

and this is my medal!

Mother's Day Card ................

Hi everyone, this is a scheduled post as I've got a day off work today as I stayed over my sister's last night hopefully for a little celebration of completing our half marathon but as it's Friday night when I type this I don't know if I succeed by this point or not hopefully I will have done!

Anyway I have a card to share with you tonight which I made for my Mum and I made another the same for my MIL for Mother's day.  We celebrated Mother's Day a week earlier and they came round for afternoon tea which was very nice.  They also had a bouquet of flowers each which they also had last week.   I'm very thankful to be have both of them as they both have heart problems.

Anyway I'm rambling now, thank you so much for stopping by your comments are always very much appreciated and always make me smile.

Little Claire Challenge ................

Hi everyone, I'm back today with a card for the new stamping challenge over at Little Claire and our theme for you this month is 'Spring'.   I don't know what the weather was like where you live yesterday but it was beautiful and sunny in Norfolk and it really felt like spring was here.  I have a thing for yellow when spring comes so I can't seem to stop using it at the moment!

I have used a super cute image tulip bunny on my card so I hope this makes you think of spring.  I'm running my half marathon tomorrow at Silverstone starting to get a bit nervous about it all now!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Winter Wonderland Challenge ............

Hi everyone and happy Friday to you!  I hope your week has gone well.  It's time for another challenge over at Winter Wonderland and our challenge for you this week is 'Blue Christmas'.  I decided to do a clean and simple card for a change which was a bit of challenge for me as I'm more normally a more is more kind of card maker!  I brought this stamp last year I think and never got round to using it so it was good to finally ink it up.  I think I will make more cards like this for Christmas as they are quick to make and the postage won't be a large letter stamp!

I hope you will join in with our challenge this time and make a start on those Christmas cards!

We have a wonderful sponsor this week:

who have a wonderful prize for the winner.

A Scrapbook Page .................

Hi everyone and happy Sunday to you all.  I've been for my long run today, but only ran just under 10 miles this week.  The first 5 miles we ran really quickly and then the second half was slower.  My race pack has arrived ready for the half marathon in 2 weeks time, so starting to feel a little nervous now!

Anyway onto to my layout which I have to share with you today which I made using a great sketch from Scapology.  This is all about Grace's first day starting Year 2 in September.  I loved the sketch and was quite pleased with how this layout turned out.

I would like to enter my layout into the S is for Squares challenge at Scrapology.

Thanks for stopping by.
